Alien Abduction Castle, Monday Morning

Jackson was so ready to move out of the bouncy castles for good. They were ridiculous, uncomfortable, and all-around horrible, and that stupid issue from the last time, with Stiles magically managing to roll across the castle and end up all over him? Still happening with amazing consistency. And the worst thing? Jackson was starting to get used to it. No, not like he liked it or anything, but he was getting used to it in a way where he didn't immediately wake up when Stiles rolled over, anymore.

Like right now. Or whenever it was that Stiles had actually moved last. Jackson didn't know because it hadn't woken him up. Goddammit.

But he'd wake up soon, and then there'd be annoyance.

Congratulations, Jackson, you have joined Derek and Scott in the ranks of people that gave up fighting and just dealt with it when Stiles slept on them. Soon you'll learn to love the drooling.

Or maybe not. There was an awful lot of it.

The drooling was where he drew to line. Because it was disgusting. And, look. He was starting to wake up. It was slow going but he got there, eyes fluttering open as his brain caught up with where he was and why there was extra weight on some of him.

And then came the usual shoving. "Ugh, get off me, Stilinski."

"Stoooooop!" Why couldn't you just let him sleep on you, Jackson? Why?

Because he didn't want to be cuddled when he was awake, that's why!

So he shoved Stiles away with a bit more force.

"Off."

[robinonadderall]

"Ow, god!" Stiles rolled off of Jackson, clutching at his arm. "Buddy, you are so lucky that wasn't the arm the vampire bat lady's talons went through."

"You're lucky I'm not ripping your arm off," Jackson retorted, although it sounded mostly like something that just went with this situation as a given, now that Stiles was off him. "Stay on your own damn side of the castle."

"You know I'm not doing it on purpose!" Because seriously Jackson, he could cuddle with people way more deserving than you. "The bouncy castles are haunted, I swear, haunted by...cuddlers. That possess me in the night."

Jackson gave him a dry look, and was clearly poised to throw some scathing remark his way.

... But then he was suddenly a bunny.

And a moment after that, once he'd figured out what the hell had just happened – again, one might add – he was the most indignant bunny in the world.

No matter how many times this has happened, Stiles will always be shocked to watch somebody turn into an animal in front of him. An actual animal, not a werewolf animal.

"Jackson?" Oh god this was precious. "This is the most adorable thing I've ever seen."

Jackson responded to that by looking grumpy.

Because everyone knew grumpy bunnies didn't look adorable at all, right?

"So cute!" Stiles crawled over as best he could in a bouncy castle to try to pick up weetiny bunny Jackson. "Oh my god, I have to get you to play with Puppy Joe!"

Jackson tried to move away, but that was mostly for show. There was nowhere for him to go, he was tiny and would just fall between things if he tried moving too far.

So after a moment of that, he stopped and just huffed, so very displeased.

"Aw, don't be like that, Jackson," Stiles said, resisting the urge to make manly (totally manly) cooing sounds as he picked the cute little bunny up. "I won't try to dress you up in tiny clothes like I did when Derek was a cat."

Yeah, Jackson would believe that when he saw it.

But at least he was allowing himself to be picked up. And wasn't harboring any immediate thoughts regarding biting Stiles. That was about as good as it got.

"You are way better about this than Derek was," Stiles informed him. He hadn't yet cuddled Jackson to his chest but oh, it would happen eventually. "Are you hungry? Wiggle your nose for yes, shake your cotton tail for no."

There were so many things Jackson would've wanted to say. Exactly none of them fit for polite conversation.

But he couldn't say any of them because he was incapable of speech at the moment.

So he wiggled his damn nose.

"That's so adorable," he said again. "Okay I'll get you food. Human food. Trust me, you picked the right person to be a bunny around."

No, Jackson you picked the worst. Because he will smother you with kindness now that you were fluffy and cute.

And Jackson was going to get issues because kindness and Jackson just didn't mix all too well. Because he was a weirdo like that.

Yeah, this was going to go just great.
