More Like Cuddly Mansion, Phoenix Way, Sunday Evening

By virtue of basically just being Jackson, Jackson had mostly missed the kid invasion happening. If he hadn't, maybe he wouldn't have bothered trekking across town to the mansion for the full moon. He wasn't great with kids.

But he also wasn't great at paying attention to things that didn't directly concern him, so here he was. The front door was open, so he just invited himself in and walked into the living room. Or tried to, anyway.

"Now what the hell is this?"

It was a huge pillow fort. Deal with it, Jackson.

That had less to do with any kind of positive valuation of Isaac's skills and more with how Jackson really did not want to be designated a babysitter under any circumstances.

Isaac really didn't know what he had been thinking, showing up to the mansion for the full moon again. Maybe he had hope that there was no way the whole kid thing would reach the creepy mansion. Apparently he had been wrong.

"I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here." What did people even do in pillow forts?

Emma had escorted Jack/Jan back from Glacia by midafternoon Sunday, since
even a very small werewolf puppy was not a good houseguest. Then he'd made his own way to the mansion.

And now he was diving into the pillow fort, because apparently even small boys without fur had some destructive tendencies.

Jan-the-wolf-puppy refused to admit he was sleepy. He was a big, fierce wolf (grrr) and had lots of enemies to attack.

Many of these enemies looked suspiciously like sofa cushions.

Which meant he was picked up by a kid with fangs and crazy sideburns for cuddling. "No attacking humans," Derek said carefully around the fangs.
